Contact form and messages. When you send an enquiry I receive your name, email address, the message you write, and, if you choose to give them, the type of session and your preferred timeframe. I use this only to reply to you and to prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). If you contact me by email, phone or WhatsApp, I handle that information the same way.
Booked sessions. If you book a session, I also handle the details needed to run it and deliver the photos: your contact details, the session arrangements and the images themselves. Legal basis: performance of our contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Invoicing. For invoices I keep your billing name, address and, where required, tax number. Legal basis: legal obligation under Hungarian accounting and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Photos in my portfolio. I publish photos of clients on this website and on Instagram and Facebook only with your written consent. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 7).
Server logs. Like every website, the server this site runs on automatically logs basic technical data, such as the IP address, browser type and page requested, whenever a page is loaded. I do not use this to identify you or to build profiles, and it is kept only briefly for security and fixing errors. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Website analytics. With your consent, I use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, screen size and language. It sets cookies that identify your browser in a pseudonymous way. Nothing is collected for analytics unless you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

I do not sell your data, and I never pass your photos or details to other companies for their own use. The services below only store or process data on my behalf, to run the website and my business, and may not use it for anything else:
WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are run by Meta, which handles your data under its own privacy policies when you contact me or follow me there.
Google and Meta may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. Where that happens, it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

I protect your data with access controls, strong passwords and encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and I only keep what I need. No online service is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can ask me at any time for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its use restricted or stopped, or to receive it in a common format. If you gave consent, for example to publish a photo of you, you can withdraw it whenever you like. Withdrawal does not affect use before it, and I cannot recall copies already shared by others. Email info@viktorvisuals.com and I will reply within one month.
If you are not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, NAIH (www.naih.hu), or go to court.
This site is not aimed at children under 16. Sessions with minors are booked through a parent or guardian.
I will update this policy if my practices change and will show the new date at the top.
